After a period of time of faithfully serving the Lord the definite call to the gospel ministry was heard during a revival meeting which was being preached by Brother T.D. Burgess. Soon after the call Robert enrolled in the School of the Scriptures Bible College in Milford, Ohio and worked nights and attended classes each day until graduation four years later.

      Upon graduation the offer to serve as Assistant Pastor and Youth Director at the home church was offered. After walking away from the job that he had held for thirteen years, Robert and Elaine were full time! This position was held for 2 1/2 years after which God called to the senior pastorate in Richwood, West Virginia. God blessed the ministry of Liberty Baptist Church for eight years and then called to the present ministry in Marietta, Ohio.
